Job Summary
As a Staff Consultant you will have the opportunity to work directly with decision makers throughout the state of Florida and nationally. You will provide financial analysis assistance, primarily to private utilities and municipal and county governments in support of the planning, funding, and financing of public resources infrastructure and operation. This position involves creative, out-of-the-box thinking to solve complex financial, environmental, and political issues. You will team with other consultants to develop and evaluate multiple solutions to problems facing utility systems and governments.
Summary of Essential Requirements

Education – A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Excel – Experience in the development and use of relatively complex spreadsheet models.
- Experience – This is a job for applicants with between 2-5 years of experience.

Willingness to travel – Our travel is mostly in Florida and averages about 25 – 50%; about half of the travel will often be day-trips via car, without the need to overnight.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work under general supervision of a Senior Consultant and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines and templates to perform the functions described below.
- Compile and analyze financial information for public and private utilities and general government clients.
- Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, sensitivity analyses, financial projections, reports, and presentations.
- Analyze and identify trends and developments specific to one client or among many clients.
- Prepare presentations and reports to summarize the results of a project.
- Present the results of our analysis to elected officials and client staff.
- Conduct interactive work sessions on-site with the client project team.
- 401(k) – Employees are eligible to participate in the company sponsored 401(k) plan after 1 year of continuous employment.
- Paid Time Off – All full-time employees are eligible for vacation time, 10 days per calendar year, following a 90-day probationary period, increasing 1 day per year of service to 20 days.
