About Us
Experience and Expertise - Since 1988, Burton & Associates has provided quality service to local governments, special districts, and privately-owned utilities.  Our consultants have a combined total of over 50 years of industry experience. When our experience is combined with our proprietary software and unique approach, it produces consensus-based solutions to today's complex economic, political, and regulatory challenges.

Solutions Based Approach - There are many challenges facing today's community leaders and there are many potential solutions to every challenge.  Often it is difficult to determine the "best" solution when so many stakeholders are involved: citizens, businesses, the environment, community leaders, etc.  Our proprietary modeling tool, FAMS-XL©, allows us to open up the process of analyzing and determining different potential solutions. FAMS-XL© is flexible, fast, and provides instantaneous feedback for alternative scenarios and "what-if" questions.

Interactive Decision Support Process - Using our process and models, you are given many opportunities to provide real-time input to the assumptions and data during our interactive work sessions, which are an integral part of every analysis.  Our process identifies viable solutions to the challenges you face and provides an understanding of the consequences of each decision.  This naturally builds consensus among participants to the "best" solutions from a pool of alternatives.

22 Years Serving Many Clients - Burton & Associates has provided quality services to over 300 satisfied clients throughout the Southeastern US over the past 22 years using this approach and our sophisticated modeling tools. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you!
